7.0 earthquake hit Haiti, so tragic,
Houdini could make the pain go away, poof be gone, magic.
What's left besides debris and broken down boulders,
How would you feel if you had the Cathedral weighing down your shoulders?
Every body is on a rant begging for mercy,
Hands raised to the sky yelling, "Why'd you have to curse me?"
Yes I understand it's a hard knock life,
But for how much longer do they have to fight?
Was once a country of independence,
And now they have no choice but to be dependent.
On the U.S. that's taking action for the time being,
Give it 2 weeks, it won't be them you'll be seeing.
They take Haiti for some kind of joke,
But in time we will regain, and this I quote.
Laugh now, cry later
In due time Haitians will be the ones waving "Hi Hater!"
Ayiti ti cheri, Ces't la vie.
